Beaches – When it comes to beaches there are plenty to take your pick from. If you have a family, you will always find plenty of local things to do in Cromer – this blue flag beach is a great place for kids to build sandcastles as it is both flat and sandy, and you will also find the chalk bed which has been there for millions of years.

Another great seaside spot is Sheringham beach. The cliffs and surrounding woodland are also great for walkers, and you and the kids can explore the rock pools here when the tide goes out.

Inland – The Norfolk Broads is a great place to enjoy fresh air and natures beauty. How Hill is a beautiful place to walk, you can enjoy the views around you and stroll alongside the nearby riverbank and see the boats moored up. For a display of dazzling wildflowers, the place to be is Beccles Marsh, where you may also spot many birds and insects that thrive here. It is said that the marsh was a gift to the people of Beccles from Queen Elizabeth I who was pleased by the thriving wool industry in the town.
