1. Pick the right projects
The key here is to choose easy projects; however, what is easy for one person may be difficult for someone else. Be clear about your skill level and pick projects you can work on without too much thought and attention; for example, you might be able to knit scarves or plain socks with very little thought, so these would work well on the go.
2. Choose small projects
It is also helpful to select smaller-sized projects, as you don’t have to carry much around and won’t need a lot of space to lay out your work when you are travelling. Small projects could include crafting items, hats, socks, or mittens. You could also knit sleeves flat or in the round.
